Certified Training For Anyone Handling Food as part of their Work Duties
Level 2 Training as reccommended by Food Safety Authority of Ireland
Food Safety Training is a Legal requirement for Food Handlers
Course content:
The course content is as follows;
- What is food safety?
- Microbiology food hazards
- Food contamination&*Cross Contamination
- HACCP delivery, storage, preparation and service
- Personal hygiene
- Pest control
- Premises design
- *Sanitisation and Effective Cleaning
- Food safety and Enforcement
*Additional Information on Covid 19 Mitigation practices will be discussed
Delivery: The modules will be delivered through a Zoom presentation, video summary . Revision questions will be issued along with a workbook once participant signs up .
Delivery of programme session will be a live interactive 4 x 1 hr 40 min sessions
Assessment : Each participant will have to complete an assessment with time allocated to this of 1 hour .
If participants do not have access to scanner the paper can be posted prior to exam and sent back to trainer by Stamped addressed envelope sent with paper
Participants will be limited to 15 to allow for interactive Q & A
