Bryan O’Donnell
Having trained with Deloitte in Dublin, Bryan moved to London where he worked with KPMG from 1988-1990. During this time he worked mostly on audits and special assignments. Bryan then joined Grand Metropolitan (now Diageo) in 1990 and worked as financial analyst at its property division for two years. In 1992 he was appointed Group Management Accountant at Tiphook plc, a container leasing business. He was appointed Financial Controller to Neodata, a Limerick-based US subsidiary, in 1994 a position he held until he started the accountancy practice in 1997 following the closure of the Ireland operations. The accounting practice provides outsource accounting, payroll bureau and management services to clients. He has worked with clients including multinationals based in Ireland and indigenous clients operating in the fish farming, hotel, and luxury goods sectors among others.
He has worked with clients in senior management positions, occasionally as director, and in these roles he has worked closely with my clients attending board meetings, developing strategic plans, fundraising with organisations such as Enterprise Ireland and Venture Capital funds while at the same time providing oversight to the clients’ finance function.
