
Donncha Hughes
Donncha Hughes has extensive experience in working with small business. He was Manager of Limerick Institute of Technology’s incubation facility for four years from 2006 to 2010. During his 4 years in LIT, 3 companies graduated from the centre as High Potential Startups (HPSUs) and have subsequently created over 30 jobs in the Mid-West.
On leaving LIT in June 2010, Donncha set up as a self-employed consultant and trainer. He is involved in training delivery for several New Frontiers programmes to include DKIT, GMIT, LIT, IT Sligo and LyIT, and IT Tralee. He has been a member of the external evaluation panel of Enterprise Ireland’s Competitive Start Fund since 2012 and since 2016 has worked with InterTrade Ireland to shortlist and score business plans in their Seedcorn Competition.
