Nicola holds a First-Class Honours Degree in Business Studies and PGCE in Education. She was hired by Lidl Ireland GmBHas a Deputy Store Manager before moving to Limerick in 2008 to take on the role of Office Manager for Re3 who were pioneering new technology in waste recycling. Through these two roles, Nicola developed a diverse range of experience in areas including Retail, Customer Service, People Management, Time Management and Financial Management.
In 2012, Nicola began teaching Accounting, Economics and Business at Post Primary Level. She also provided business consultancy to local organisations within the Engineering and Education Sectors. During this time, Nicola came to realise that her real passion lay in Business Strategy and development
After spending seven years teaching, Nicola decided to change course and pursue a career whereby she could help small business owners to keep on top of their finances and understand how their businesses were performing. She has worked with clients in the Engineering Sector; Technology and Education Sectors. She also works as a Trainer for the Local Enterprise Office where she has provided training in Finance modules for the Business Management course.
Nicola’s vision is to aid SMEs to understand their business so they can respond to the dynamic business world we find ourselves in when operating in the small, open economy that is Ireland. She aims to support SMEs in maintaining financial records, closely monitoring their finances, preparing for change and advise on and help in the coordination of events (meetings, trade shows, etc) to ensure a positive outcome for the client.
