Theresa Mulvihill

Theresa Mulvihill is the Company Director of Smart Marketing Limited, a hands-on marketing consultancy business that specialises in the marketing of micro businesses and SMEs in the mid west of Ireland.  Smart Marketing Limited was founded by Theresa Mulvihill in 2002.

In 2012 Theresa decided to diversify her consultancy business and merge with latest technologies.  In late 2012 Theresa set up Tamm Technologies Ltd. Tamm is an acronym for Technology Aided Marketing Management. http://tammsoftware.com/. It is a cloud based, pay as you go marketing project management system for small business and business with multiple site locations. It is ideal for any business operating in the business to consumer space. It saves time, money and protects marketing intelligence. Theresa has personal experience of preparing investor ready business plans and pitches and to date Theresa has secured over €100,000 investment including bank finance, personal finance and external investment to progress this business.

Experience

Theresa worked with blue chip companies including Xerox Europe in Blanchardstown. She then moved to Athlone where she began work with the An Post subsidiary One Direct as Tele sales operative progressing overtime to Marketing Executive. In 2002 she set up Smart Marketing Limited. She has over twenty years marketing experience and her work experience spans customer service, sales and marketing, with marketing her core area of expertise. She has a wide and diverse range of experience and has been successfully running her own business for the past 17 years. Over the last 4 years Theresa has gained extensive experience in the technology sector as a direct result of her entrepreneurial nature to diversify and drive her own business.

Focus

As Managing Director of Smart Marketing Limited, she has focused her attention on working with micro businesses and SME’s across all industrial sectors including a number of high potential start ups throughout the midlands and mid-west. She has won substantial contracts with a diverse and wide range of businesses in the manufacturing, construction, leisure, retail, insurance, hotel and catering industries and start up operations.

Mission

Theresa’s mission is to assist micro businesses and SMEs in dealing with the marketing challenges that companies are faced with which are triggered by today’s ever changing marketing environment. Her aim is to work in partnership with micro businesses and SME’s and provide them with the appropriate supports required to assist them in starting, developing and growing their businesses into the future with practical, genuine and real business strategies.
